Angelo trained as a nurse and has worked in healthcare professional and vocational education for over 20 years. In 2005 he left his post as Associate Director of Nursing at a Trust in South London and has since worked for Skills for Health. Angelo’s team have supported employer groups to develop over 50 apprenticeship standards and End Point Assessment (EPA) plans. Angelo has worked directly on the development of all versions of the nursing associate and Registered Nurse apprenticeship standards and EPAs and is currently working with the group developing the new Clinical Associate in Psychology apprenticeship standard and EPA which will be published in 2020.

  • Outline the HASO Apprenticeship Implementation Toolkit, which is designed to support employers through the process, end to end, from setting out an organisational strategy through to having apprentices in the workplace. The toolkit provides advice and guidance including the development of organisational strategies, recruitment of apprentices, available funding and how it works through to choosing a training provider.
